In another significant step towards our goal of creating and enhancing sustainable healthcare systems across Africa and the globe, The Ministry of Health of the republic of Uganda and the Oxygen Alliance signed a letter of intent for strategic investment and support aimed at increasing the availability of functional medical oxygen plants and total quality management protocols to enhance timely availability of medical oxygen for patients across healthcare facilities in Uganda.

Oxygen Colab Grants £61,495 to Oxygen Alliance to Support the Development of BME Konza App
The Oxygen Colab has awarded a £61,495 grant to the Oxygen Alliance to support the development of the BME Konza App, an innovative mobile platform designed to empower biomedical engineers and technicians in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This vital funding will accelerate the app’s development, enhancing the capacity of healthcare professionals to maintain and repair critical medical equipment, ultimately improving patient care in resource-limited settings.
